Tu Tuf is non-toxic vapor barrier. We used it under our floorboards, too. Applied with staples between insulation and interior, this stuff is all it claims to be.

Removal of our counter framing made installing the Tu Tuf easier. |

Counter back in place |

DK designed walls for the bathroom that allow max air flow through these escapes... |
|
DK is in the bathroom, on the right of pic is where sink will be installed. |
|
But DK made it work for one wall since we ran out of the clear. |
Now we need to get our chimney installed while the weather is dry (though oh so cold) so we can Tu Tuf the ceiling.
Happy New Year and thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteDaisy, what kind of insulation are you using? Is the tuff tuff being used instead of tyvek? How is the tuff tuff better than dennyfoil? You guys make it look so professional.
ReplyDeletetyvek, is a brand of housewrap, I think, that goes outside, under the siding. I'm not sure tu tuf is better than denny foil, but it's great stuff and maybe...tougher :)
