We're getting close to being able to move our tiny home and move in.
The landowner of our home's current resting place has been very generous with us. When we moved our 8x18 foot trailer onto his property, my brother and his family lived in a unit there. They moved in December but Bruce has agreed to let us finish building, while he awaits a new tenant. We even worked out a trade rather than a monetary agreement.
We located some supplies we needed to finish: more pine paneling to match what we have and finish the ceilings, tung oil for a nontoxic waterproofing for our window sills, propane supplies, and an extension for our chimney tube.
Our new landlord, Dan, called to let us know he's getting some work done on the driveways on the property he'll be renting to us and posting signs to discourage trespassers. He assured us an end of February move-in date would work so we're planning to put in notice at our apartment February 8.
Fresh Air and Free Time are just around the corner.
